Interact Club Event Report: Library Drive at GHPS Nallurhalli Date: 1st September 2025 Venue: GHPS Nallurhalli Objective: The primary aim of this initiative was to promote reading habits among children, enhance their learning environment, and support the development of the school library. The event sought to engage students actively, instill confidence, and teach organizational skills that could benefit them academically and personally. Activities Conducted: School-wide Book Drive: A book collection drive was organized across grades 1 to 12, resulting in the collection of over 250 books. More than 30 volunteers actively participated in this initiative, contributing to its success. Book Sorting and Distribution: Club volunteers and office bearers sorted the books according to grade and subject, ensuring that the library setup would be easy to use and accessible for students of all levels. Library Organization: Students were guided on how to care for and maintain books properly, focusing not on technical systems like cataloguing, but on developing respect for books and good library habits. Storytelling Session: A lively storytelling session was conducted in both English and Kannada, which kept students engaged, sparked their imagination, and encouraged a love for stories and reading. Interactive Reading: Children were invited to read aloud, an activity that helped improve their reading skills, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking before peers. Confidence-building Activities: Various interactive activities were held to instill self-confidence, responsibility, and a sense of ownership in the students, encouraging them to take an active role in maintaining their library. * Crowdfunding Campaign The crowdfunding campaigns done by students of Grades 7 to 9 for providing back-to-school kits to children in rural schools across Karnataka (Greensole Foundation) and Grade 11 for providing mid-day meals to govt school students in Karnataka. (The Akshaya Patra Foundation). I Have always had a keen interest in teaching children.I was a home maker when I started my teaching career in the year 2010.My hobby is to learn new things, in this process I have learnt many things like NTT, Web Designing, Diploma in Computer science ,Abacus, Vedic Math, have a knowledge of Graphology , and yoga ,Mudras,Rubik’s Cube , Chess,Phonics, Brain vita,Tangram and etc.

A Teachers role is very important and every minute she has to motivate herself and the children.I had to face many challenges while teaching. I started learning many things to prove to the children that nothing is impossible. Sending across the message from my mind to the childrens is what I found difficult.

It is not enough to be compassionate. You must act. Action begins with a desire. Naturally, heartfelt compassion leads to action. The vulnerable and disadvantaged in this world need more than pity. They need to see love operate selflessly and compassionately. With this motive under the guidance of Principal Dr Stella Pandhare,students and staffs of Nurture International School ,Bangalore set a mark to various social activities.

It’s much easier to forget your personal woes when you’re serving the needs of those around you. Blood donation camp conducted by the Rotary club members in the school premises proves the same. The active participation of parents, students and staffs has made the session a successful one with a collection of 53 units of blood.

Creating Awareness

NURTURE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL , Bangalore

Co-curricular activities were undertaken side by side with the educational program and were more focused upon cognitive aspects; helps in intellectual development of the child. These activities significantly take place outside a general experience of pen and pencil classroom, to develop the competitiveness, excellence, quality achievements and enthusiasm.

To create awareness and action for the protection of our environment, students were taken to the Indian council of agricultural research (ICAR) on World environment day.On the same day, children along with teachers planted saplings in the school. Students held placards at the school entrance as a part of awareness program.

Doctor’s day was celebrated to know the importance of physicians services.
